Our family has been wearing sun protective swimwear that Elizabeth made since our first child was born in 1988. With a family history of melanoma and living in Queensland (the skin cancer capital of the world), we wanted to ensure our children could safely enjoy the surf and sand. Elizabeth started sunshell back in 1996 after a Dermatologist saw us wearing her sunsuits on the beach and suggested she start a business.

Since then sunshell has come a long way. We now supply fully Australian made sunsuits to Australia's Cancer Council shops, surf and children's wear outlets, swim clubs and direct to you anywhere in the world via the Internet. Elizabeth designs the suits and with our factory right here in Brisbane, we can respond quickly to your individual needs.

Sunshell's range of sun protective swimwear is designed to shield you from the sun and look fantastic at the same time. The suits are made from high quality lycra or chlorine resistant polyesters, which have UPF 50+ Protection. This means that less than 2% of the sun's UV A & B radiation passes through the fabric, so you can be sure, when you receive your new suit, you will be well protected from the sun.
